We are seeking a
Senior Business Systems Analyst
to partner with business and technology teams in designing and delivering scalable, data-driven system solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and communication skills with hands-on experience gathering requirements, defining system enhancements, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and IT capabilities.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, improving processes, and bridging the gap between technology and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs: Partner with business stakeholders to understand goals, processes, and data flows; translate them into clear functional requirements and use cases.
• Design optimal solutions: Define and document system requirements aligned with the organization's architecture and strategic objectives.
• Process improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline or automate workflows through technology or process redesign.
• Requirement translation: Convert business requirements into system specifications, collaborating with developers, QA teams, and project managers to ensure successful delivery.
• Stakeholder communication: Present technical concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner to end users and leadership.
• Project support: Develop project plans, assist in estimating costs and resources, and track deliverables to completion.
• Documentation & training: Create and maintain system documentation, process flows, and user guides; support UAT and post-implementation reviews.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and review work of junior analysts to ensure quality and consistency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst within IT or enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial systems, financial applications, or data/reporting domains.
• Proficiency with JIRA for agile project tracking and Microsoft Visio for process flow diagramming.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration between business and IT teams.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and present them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
