U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Properties ("USOPP") the commercial joint venture between LA28 and Team USA, is seeking an experienced
Senior Manager, Commercial Asset Development
to support the packaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategy for new sponsorship marketing programs for Global and Domestic Partners.
The Senior Manager will play a critical role in driving economic impact for both the LA 2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games and Team USA. They will guide the strategic development of innovative commercial programs that serve Partners' brand and business goals, as well as help LA28 and Team USA reach their highest potential. As a member of a fully-integrated team across USOPP, LA28, USOPC, and Legends Global organizations, the Senior Manager will work cross-functionally with relevant stakeholders to identify and project manage opportunities for Partner integration and activation.
This person will also work in close collaboration with the IOC, IPC, and NBC to ensure alignment on partnership strategy and value delivery, and will make key decisions regarding all aspects of program commercialization.
Essential Dutes And Responsibilities
- Lead workstreams with assigned LA28 Functional Areas to identify, package, and price budgeted programs for commercialization via partner upsells, use of committed activation funds, and new business
- Assess economic potential of net-new assets/programs for select sales prospects
- Collaborate on asset strategy, packaging, and delivery planning with USOPC Commercial Asset Development counterparts (to be hired), NBC, and NGBs (as needed) through regular calls
- Coordinate with IOC/IPC on program rights & benefits and communication plans
- Develop customized proposals and supporting sell-in conversations and follow-ups with partners/prospects
- Oversee standard rights & benefits matrices and track inventory
Maintain standard Commercial Partner right & benefits matrices, as well as:
Torch Relay Partner rights & benefits
- Venue Naming Rights Partner rights & benefits
- Sole Supplier rights & benefits
Run sponsorship category and prospect analyses, as needed
Customized sales proposal support, as needed
- Upsells
- Communicate status updates to internal and executive stakeholders
- Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications

- Strong cross-functional skills, with an ability to manage multiple internal/external stakeholders with varying business needs and priorities
- Hands-on experience developing customized sales materials
- Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment preferred
- Business operations, P&L management, and program execution skills a plus
- Direct experience in Olympic and Paralympic Movement a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Based in (or willing to relocate to) Los Angeles, CA
Education And/Or Experience
- 7+ years in sports sponsorship activation, strategy, and/or program development (property, agency, or brand)
- Thorough understanding of sponsorship value-drivers and brand KPI's (direct success measurement and reporting experience preferred)
Compensation
Competitive salary range of $120,000 - $125,000 plus bonus opportunities and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
