The Director of Field Sales is a dynamic, strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and elevating brand execution across all field sales channels within a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment. This role oversees regional sales teams, distributor relationships, retail execution, and field activation to ensure our beverage portfolio wins on every shelf, in every territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire regional and district sales teams to deliver aggressive revenue, volume, and distribution goals across grocery, mass merch, convenience, foodservice, and specialty channels.
  • Develop and execute a national field sales strategy that accelerates market penetration, maximizes product visibility, and strengthens competitive positioning.
  • Build strong partnerships with key distributors, bottlers, and retail accounts to optimize ordering, forecasting, promotional planning, and inventory management.
  • Oversee field execution standards, ensuring flawless merchandising, planogram compliance, display building, price integrity, and point-of-sale effectiveness.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and retail insights to identify growth opportunities, adjust territory plans, and influence commercial strategy.
  • Drive new product launches by coordinating field activation, training sales teams, and partnering closely with marketing and supply chain to ensure availability and strong in-market impact.
  • Manage annual budgets, trade spend, and promotional investments to maximize ROI while ensuring profitable and sustainable growth.
  • Strengthen field capability through coaching, performance management, and development of high-potential leaders within the sales organization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Demand Planning to align field execution with production capacity, inventory levels, and commercial priorities.
  • Represent the voice of the field at leadership meetings, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to support company-wide objectives.
