You will be responsible for the flawless tactical execution of core operations and the strategic design of our workflows across both HR and Recruiting.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for our core People systems (Workday, Greenhouse, Gem, etc.). This includes managing product updates, configurations, security settings, user permissions, and troubleshooting day-to-day system issues.

  • Help to manage the data quality across all People systems. Conduct regular audits and implement controls to ensure data consistency and accuracy for reporting and compliance.
  • Create, run, and deliver accurate and timely standardized reports (e.g., headcount, new hire reports).
  • Run the operational elements of the employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless and compliant execution from offer generation through offboarding and exit procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing standard People documents and company policies.
  • Provide operational support to the Recruiting and HR teams, including managing the configuration of the ATS, streamlining the offer and onboarding process, assisting with general inquiries and ad-hoc projects, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine and general employee inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution or escalation.
  • Assist with HR compliance activities, internal/external audits, and maintenance of digital employee files to ensure adherence to City, State, and Federal labor laws.

What You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical or operational role within Human Resources or People Operations.
  • Hands-on experience as an administrator or power-user of at least one major HRIS (Workday preferred) and Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) and experience working with large datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance tactical execution (data entry, process administration) with strategic analysis (identifying trends, making recommendations).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to data and process integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to document, follow, and improve operational processes.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
  • Knowledge of NYC, New York State, and US Federal employment laws.
  • Knowledge of US immigration laws and global mobility processes.
