Finance Associate Attorney – Structured Finance & Securitization | $250k–$295k| Washington, DC, New York, NY (Hybrid)

A leading law firm is seeking a Finance Associate Attorney with 2–3 years of experience to join its team in Washington, D.C. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build a career in structured finance and securitization , working on sophisticated transactions with high-profile clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate complex lending documentation, including warehouse credit agreements and other structured finance instruments.
  • Support clients in structured finance transactions, securitizations, and related financing deals.
  • Manage multiple transactions simultaneously, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and practical solutions in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
  • Conduct due diligence, review transaction documents, and assist with closing processes.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 2–3 years of experience in finance, with a focus on structured finance, securitizations, or related transactions preferred.
  • Strong drafting skills and experience with complex lending documents.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
