Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney | $220k–$270k| Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD (Hybrid)

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join its growing team in either Washington, D.C. or Baltimore. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established national finance practice with a track record of closing transactions in all 50 states, offering significant client contact, meaningful responsibility, and strong opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in commercial real estate finance transactions from origination to closing.
  • Advise on matters involving multifamily lending and related programs, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA multifamily transactions.
  • Conduct and analyze title and survey reviews and provide legal guidance on due diligence and risk mitigation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate loan documentation and related agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues on complex finance matters and contribute to business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission to the bar in Washington, D.C. or Maryland.
  • 2–5 years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with multifamily lenders and government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) loan programs is a plus.
  • Strong title insurance and survey review experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage transactions and interact directly with clients.
