Our company is a small, wine, spirits and travel-focused media relations company working in a tight-knit, team-oriented environment. Our work garners well-thought-out editorial coverage for our clients in the national media. We're looking for a talented and self-motivated individual looking to advance their career in a leadership role in the hospitality and PR focused world.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years' experience working in PR and media relations in the lifestyle/consumer brand space, preferably spirits and wine
  • A comprehensive understanding of the media landscape
  • Experience mentoring, growing and managing junior staff members
  • Strategic oversite of each client's earned media approach, collaborations and partnerships
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality stories across diverse platforms
  • Strong connections to top regional and national media with a proven track record of securing both product and feature story coverage
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and ability to host media on press trips

Job Description:

An Account Executive plays a key role in our agency, and as a primary "face" for each client account they are assigned. They help oversee the strategy and flow of all client services for accounts they manage and report to Account Supervisors, Account Directors and President. They are managers of Account Coordinators. They support the growth of the business (services, creative ideas, new business development, brand collaborations) and they foster a productive and pleasant working environment for team members, encouraging growth and development. They problem-solve issues with clients, media and team members. They work on a team to oversee direct client management and strategic consulting on 4-5 accounts, writing and editing press releases and press materials, developing creative ideas our clients may use to set themselves apart in the media and beyond, actively pitching our clients to journalists, keeping track and managing all media activity for clients, organizing and hosting press trips, small events, keeping abreast of top trends in hospitality, travel to attend client meetings, events and host media tours. Our ideal candidate is able to work independently, is very hard working, extremely creative, detail oriented, organized, fun, enthusiastic and energetic. This candidate will also have a proven track-record of success in media relations, and a penchant for wine and food. We also encourage candidates with a great sense of curiosity, playfulness and sense of humor to apply
