SC Sports Attendant

SALARY RANGE: $ $19.19 per hour

Summary / Objective 

The Sports Attendant position is vital to the overall safety and experience of the players. Our Sports Attendant staff is responsible for monitoring activities on our resources, checking in players, and enforcing our established policies. The Sports Attendant is the first point of contact for our customers and is also responsible for helping to maintain a clean and safe facility in their assigned area, as well as under the direction of the Shift Leader.

Essential Functions

• Effectively communicate while using a Radio.
• Ensure league rules are being enforced.
• Greet guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while performing multiple job functions. Smile and greet players upon entering.
• Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.  Take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action.
• Diffuse uneasy player situations while protecting the integrity and safety of our staff, building and league policies.
• Work with Supervisors and staff to set up and take down class equipment and split field league set up.
• Maintain company safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards for entire building.
• Uphold the culture and standards of Sports City and Santa Rosa Entertainment Company, LLC.
• Work hard to identify potential problems and communicate with supervisors and management to help prevent them from having an impact on guest experience.
• Maintain proper stock of supplies, communicating needs or shortages with management.
• Available to work all shifts: days, nights, weekends, and holiday, as necessary.
• A positive attitude.
• Other duties as directed.

Work Environment

This job operates in an area-wide capacity. This role routinely uses cleaning equipment, and employees in this role are frequently exposed to hot water, potentially slippery floors, and cleaning chemicals.

Physical Demands

The employee is required to stand 100% of their shift, climb or balance; and stoop or kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, using proper lifting procedures.

Required Qualifications

• The ideal candidate for this position is excellent with guests and has an impressive ability to communicate.
• A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• Has the ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with many distractions.
• Must be 18 years of age or above.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy bar environment.
• Bilingual a plus.
