Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional support to clients, managing inquiries, and assisting with veterinary-related services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and veterinary terminology, with the ability to handle pet owners professionally and empathetically. Experience in medical collection, laboratory procedures, or animal handling is highly desirable. Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person interactions
  • Assist clients with scheduling appointments and providing information about pet care services
  • Manage medical collections related to veterinary services, ensuring accurate billing and follow-up
  • Support veterinary staff with animal handling tasks such as restraint, dog handling, and pet grooming when needed
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and veterinary procedures using appropriate terminology
  • Educate pet owners on animal husbandry, pet grooming, and basic animal care practices
  • Assist with laboratory procedures or sample collection following aseptic techniques when required
  • Support the team with kennel management and animal husbandry duties as necessary
  • Uphold high standards of animal safety and comfort during all interactions

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and restraint techniques
  • Ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
  • Familiarity with vaccine protocols for cats and dogs
  • Familiarity with medical collection processes related to veterinary services
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and laboratory safety protocols
  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in animal welfare
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
