Halifax Health | Brooks Rehabilitation - Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation, located within Halifax Health – Medical Center of Daytona Beach, specializes in treating stroke , spinal cord injury , brain injury and complex orthopedic conditions . A full spectrum of physical and neuro rehabilitation services are provided.

Join a friendly and collaborative team, working along side multiple employees to provide superior patient care in an inpatient setting.

Location: 303 N Clyde Morris Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114

Hours: Full-Time; Rotating weekends

Compensation: Experience and education may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. Opportunity for premium pay on weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete the new patient evaluation, establish customized treatment plans and patient goals, and participate in the implementation of patient care programs
  • Apply a variety of therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with speech and language disorders, hearing disorders, and swallowing disorders
  • Deliver high quality patient care for multiple rehabilitation diagnoses
  • Provide a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and written
  • Promote evidence based patient care

Qualifications:

  • Current SLP license in state of Florida
  • Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification
  • Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements
