About the Role:
My client is seeking a visionary Director of Storage/Cloud Data Solutions Sales, someone highly motivated and experienced to lead business growth across the EDA/Semiconductor industry as well as countless verticals that transfer large amounts of data. This role requires a proven leader with deep technical and commercial expertise in cloud and storage-based data solutions. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and scaling national and international markets.
- The right candidate combines strategic sales leadership with a hands-on, customer-focused approach, driving both adoption and revenue. You have established sales and success in the CLOUD/STORAGE, backup domain.
Having a background in EDA/SEMI a plus.
We are looking for someone who can combine strategic sales leadership with a hands-on, customer-focused approach to drive adoption and revenue growth.
This game changing product has broad implications as this game-changing, highly technical platform offers solutions for companies needing more computing power, combining multiple needs of CPU and GPU accessibility wherever, whenever needed. The right candidate understands the concepts of moving mass amounts of data in cloud environments and has the knowledge and technical ability to show the value of this technology. The ideal candidate will have deep experience selling complex technical cloud/storage-based solutions to global accounts and slowly build out high-performing, geographically dispersed sales teams.
While this is a Director-level position, it is also a bag-carrying individual contributor role—you'll own key accounts and actively drive opportunities from prospecting through close.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive adoption of cloud and data management solutions within global semiconductor accounts.
- - Identify new market opportunities and drive expansion into emerging and adjacent semiconductor segments
- Serve as a trusted advisor, articulating the business value and technical benefits of large-scale data movement and management in cloud environments.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing, geographically distributed sales team to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs and industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
- Accurately forecast sales performance and pipeline activity using CRM and analytics tools.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, with at least 5 years selling cloud, data storage, or data management solutions.
- Proven track record of success selling complex, high-value technical solutions to global semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing customers.
- Deep understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and large-scale data movement and storage technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- - Deep existing network and relationships within semiconductor and related technology markets
- - Experience in both direct and channel sales models, particularly in a high-growth or scaling-stage company
- - Utilize advanced CRM and analytics platforms to optimize sales performance and derive strategic insights
- - Represent them at global industry conferences and events to increase brand visibility and customer engagement
- - Expertise in negotiating with C-level executives and technical decision makers at global semiconductor companies
