The Senior Endpoint Engineer, Endpoint Operations provides technical oversight and management of our extensive device, application, and operating system environments. They contribute as part of a skilled team which designs and maintains the central management architecture and applications; builds configuration packages, policies, and scripts; and provides testing, validation, analysis and reporting for central management of desktop, mobile, and other managed devices. They are responsible for helping maintain the safety and security of the systems infrastructure and improving the stability of the operating systems to support business operations. The position requires deep technical knowledge and experience, as well as a high degree of personal motivation while working independently in support of a wide array of our IT systems and infrastructure.

A Senior Endpoint Engineer will act as a technical liaison to assist others in resolving complex technical issues and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner, leveraging resources at their disposal. As a senior member of the Endpoint Engineering team, this person will have a high degree of responsibility for the use and management of Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, ChromeOS and other endpoint devices across the DaVita Village. They also enhance the performance of the existing systems, configuring features for optimization. A Senior Endpoint Engineer must have excellent communication and technical skills, especially in supporting the end-users with technical failures and identifying accurate resolutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

Manage and execute needed upgrades and determine hardware and software functional specifications

  • Contribute to decision making for technological solutions.

  • Actively participate in cross team efforts with project management, operations, development and QA resource management for project

Provide technical input, develop technical documentation, testing procedures, and best demonstrated practice documents and ensure adherence

  • Assist in process improvement efforts related to customer satisfaction, operational support, SDLC cycles.

  • Risk identification and evaluation, managing and improving upon internal controls which mitigate risks. Work with both internal and external teams to identify enhancement opportunities and resolve defects.

  • Responsibility to configure, administer and support new infrastructure solutions across a multitude of platforms to meet enterprise level requirements.

  • Identify and resolve system architecture, integration, infrastructure communications and other engineering issues relate to migrating
