Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify their appointment details, and assist new patients with their first visit.
- Manage patient scheduling efficiently through medical office management software - ChiroHD (Training provided)
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes accurately.
- Assist patients with intake forms, documentation review, and updating personal health information in accordance with health information management standards.
- Answer multi-line phone systems professionally using excellent phone etiquette; direct calls appropriately and respond promptly to patient inquiries.
- Coordinate care plans by facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers; assist with follow-up appointments and treatment scheduling.
- Perform clerical tasks including data entry, typing reports, managing office supplies, email management and supporting overall office duties to keep the clinic running smoothly.
- Uphold HIPAA compliance standards during all interactions to ensure patient privacy is maintained at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a medical office environment or healthcare setting, including front desk or administrative support roles within clinics or dental practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and health information management best practices.
- Ability to review medical documentation accurately and support care plan coordination effectively.

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
