About the Role:
As a Mission Coordinator, you will serve as the beating heart of the operation—mastering the art of flight coordination, logistics management, and operational communication. You'll create FAA flight plans, monitor and track flights, assist with weather and regulatory evaluations, and ensure seamless communication between Pilots, Maintenance, Scheduling, Guest Services, and Sales. In this critical role, you'll balance precision, problem-solving, and collaboration to support safe, efficient, and joyful travel experiences for our Customers and Crewmembers.
This is an on-site position based at JSX Headquarters in Dallas, TX

A Day in the Life:
You'll be…
- Planning & Tracking Flights: Creating FAA flight plans, monitoring aircraft from departure through destination (including stops and diversions), and providing safe, real-time tracking.
- Supporting Crews: Briefing Pilots on trip details, duty days, and flight assignments while arranging crew travel and meals as needed.
- Ensuring Compliance: Monitoring crew and flight legality, evaluating NOTAMs/TFRs, and assisting with meteorological analysis to uphold regulatory and safety standards.
- Coordinating Operations: Liaising across Flight Ops, Maintenance, Scheduling, Guest Services, and Sales to maintain smooth communication and collaboration.
- Managing Logistics: Arranging international handling/customs, securing fuel releases, and confirming aircraft services for safe and efficient operations.
- Maintaining Records: Recording flight and pilot data in trip management systems to ensure accurate reporting and metrics tracking.

Required Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Time-management skills and providing clear and timely communications in a fast-paced environment
- Experience prioritizing competing tasks and executing work under pressure and with tight timelines
- Ability to interpret NOTAMs, TFRs, and weather reports
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and company policies
Preferred Experience:
- 2–4 Year College Degree in Aviation
- 1–2 years of experience in FAR Part 135 and/or Part 121 Operations
- Proficiency with Arinc Direct, RAIDO (N-OC), Spreadsheets, and Google products
Skill, Licenses, & Certifications:
- FAA Dispatch License (Required)
Other Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays
Ability to occasionally lift 5–20 pounds

Pay & Perks:
Compensation is $26.00/hour. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation.
