Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling and service, with a flair for creating delicious pizzas in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Manage food handling processes to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, and cutting tools, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Utilize Toast POS system for order processing
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or culinary roles, preferably with hand tossed pizzas
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
