Position Summary:

The Facility Services Supervisor at Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility services team to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for both guests and staff. In this role, you will manage and coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation efforts throughout the waterpark, ensuring all areas, including pool decks, restrooms, common spaces, and outdoor areas, meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. You will supervise, train, and motivate a team of facility services staff, while also conducting routine inspections, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The Facility Services Supervisor will collaborate closely with other departments to support smooth operations and provide exceptional guest experiences. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to operational challenges, ensuring that Epic Waters remains a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for all visitors.

Position Essential Responsibilities:

● Oversee the daily activities and performance of the facility services team.

● Assign tasks and responsibilities to staff based on operational needs and priorities.

● Ensure staff adheres to all safety protocols, cleanliness standards, and policies.

● Provide ongoing coaching, support, and direction to ensure high-quality service and team performance.

● Conduct regular inspections to identify and address cleanliness or maintenance issues.

● Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.

● Provide training for new facility services staff and leadership, and ongoing training to ensure compliance with company policies and cleaning standards.

● Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members and leadership, offering constructive feedback and support for their development.

● Ensure staff understand emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and safety protocols.

● Implement cost-effective practices without compromising cleanliness or safety.

● Identify opportunities for improvement in facility services operations, recommending or implementing process enhancements to improve efficiency and service quality.

● Work closely with other departments such as guest services, lifeguards, and management to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience.

● Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints related to cleanliness or facility maintenance.

Physical, Schedule, and Work Requirements:

● Must be at least 18 years old to hold this position.

● Availability to work on the majority of shifts available, during the normal operating hours of the waterpark.

● Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

● Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull while performing job tasks.

● Must be able to lift 50 lbs or greater.

● Must work weekends and holidays as needed, with minimal requests for extended periods of time off, especially during peak seasons. Any prior commitments must be discussed before your start date.
