Ergon Marine & Industrial Supply is seeking a full-time Marine Sales Manager to join our team.  This is a hybrid/remote position in the Paducah/Wickliffe region.

This position supports the sales of fuel, lubricants, groceries, and marine supplies across all EMIS locations. The Sales Representative will act as a key liaison between EMIS and its customers, traveling as needed to maintain and expand customer relationships, promote EMIS services, and ensure excellent delivery. This is a hybrid/remote position.

Job Qualifications:

College degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum of two (2) years of experience in fuel marketing and salesActive knowledge and understanding of fuel market analysisStrong independent work ethic and self-motivationExcellent communication, organizational, and public relations skills

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain a strong customer base for marine services: fuel, fleeting, lubricants, groceries, and suppliesTravel to meet with customers and represent EMIS professionallyTake and process customer orders for fuel and lubricants via phone/emailAdminister fuel price changes and notify customers accordinglyAssist with customer account management and credit requests in coordination with the corporate officeMonitor daily oil and diesel fuel marketsObtain and analyze New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) and OPIS spot market pricingPrice fuel for customers across all EMIS locations based on market dataMonitor diesel inventory levels daily to ensure consistent supply and distributionManage and monitor bulk lubricant oil inventory using SAPReview and approve diesel and lube inventory adjustments at month-endAssist with year-end inventory processesCreate purchase orders and update inventory in SAP as neededMaintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for EMISInvoice fuel, lube, slop oil, and trash services in SAPAssist management in implementing cost reduction strategies in daily operationsSupport management in enforcing EMIS and corporate policies

Additional Requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (for spreadsheet tracking and reporting)Working knowledge of SAP for inventory, invoicing, and order managementFamiliarity with OPIS, NYMEX, and other fuel pricing tools
