Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant

Position Overview
Our Pasadena law firm seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team full-time. This role combines accurate financial record keeping with administrative assistance for smooth operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable in a professional legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare client billing and invoices, track payments.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
Maintain accurate general ledger entries.
Assist with payroll and expense tracking.
Generate financial and management reports.
Administrative
- Oversee daily office operations and administrative support.
- Coordinate vendors, office services, and supply inventory.
- Maintain office policies and procedures.
- Assist with new employee onboarding and time-off tracking.
- Maintain organized paper and electronic filing systems.
- Ensure a professional, efficient, and client-focused office environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, Google Sheets.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, billing, and reconciliation.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred.
Compensation & Schedule
- Full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday).
- Compensation: $ $35.00 per hour / salary, commensurate with experience.
- Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan options.
