What You Will Contribute:
The
Senior Financial Analyst
is a key contributor to the Finance team, with a specialized focus on
operational variance analysis
and
budgeting
. This role partners closely with operations, financial planning, supply chain, and senior leadership to deliver insights that drive efficiency and cost control across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and a strong communicator who thrives in both independent and collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead operational variance analysis, including overhead, labor, shop order close and material variances across manufacturing and supply chain functions.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with a focus on operations-related financial data and provide audit support as needed.
  • Collaborate with operations and plant leadership to develop and manage the operational budget, including overhead allocations and cost center planning.
  • Analyze and report on actual vs. budget performance for operational departments, identifying drivers of variance and recommending corrective actions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate product cost changes, new product introductions, and their impact on operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and scenario planning for operations.

*Education and Experience*

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or operations-heavy environment.

*Qualifications*

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with AS400 or similar ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate actionable insights.
