Professional Pet Sitter / Dog Walker

Our mission is to provide trustworthy, professional care that goes beyond simply looking after animals. We are dedicated to treating pets as cherished family members, ensuring their happiness, safety, and well-being, and we are looking for a true animal lover to help us do just that through providing occasional pet sitting and dog walking in the Downtown Area of Central FL

You would provide occasional drop-in visits, dog walks, and overnight care for our clients, as requested. You should be able to service clients in the Kissimmee / Windermere / Downtown Orlando / Fairview Shores / Baldwin Park areas. We are also looking to bring on another team member in the Altamonte / Winter Springs area.

Becoming part of the Pawsome Pet Care team is a great source of supplemental income for someone with a flexible schedule There are no guaranteed hours for this position, there may be no work at all some weeks, while other weeks could be very busy.

We are an award-winning team of licensed, insured, bonded, and background-checked pet sitters and dog walkers covering Central Florida.

This is not regular work - you should have a separate reliable source of income. We work whenever the clients need us, which is usually around once a month, more so during the Summer and on holidays.

This is a position working with animals, usually outdoors, so you must be ready, willing, and able to handle yucky smells, untrained dogs, rain, and Summer heat with a positive and upbeat attitude.

Requirements:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Pass a background check
  • Have flexible availability, including overnight availability. Most clients request morning, midday, and evening visits; however, they may request any time, day or night.
  • Have reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 30 minutes for visits
  • Have the ability to react quickly, solve problems by thinking on your feet
