Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and lessons.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play.
  • Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Create a positive classroom environment that encourages social interaction and emotional growth.
  • Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and communicating with parents.
  • Foster a love for learning by introducing educational activities that align with childhood development principles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom, ensuring a safe environment for all children.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
  • Stay current on best practices in early childhood education, including first aid and safety protocols.

Experience

  • Prior experience in toddler care, infant care, or preschool settings is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
  • Experience working with students in various capacities, including babysitting or childcare roles.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is essential.
  • A strong understanding of the unique needs of children at different developmental stages.
