Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transportation Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods, passengers, or both to designated locations while adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards. The driver will ensure timely and efficient delivery or transit, maintain their vehicle, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate vehicles such as trucks, vans, buses, or rideshare cars to transport goods or passengers to designated locations.
  • Plan and follow optimal routes to ensure timely deliveries or arrivals.
  • Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition by performing regular maintenance checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Load and unload cargo (if applicable) safely and securely, ensuring that goods are delivered without damage.
  • Maintain accurate records, including delivery logs, route reports, and maintenance checks.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with passengers or clients.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
  • Address any issues or concerns from passengers or customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained both inside and out.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a driver (commercial driving experience may be required depending on the role).
  • Knowledge of road safety rules and regulations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
