Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a part-time faculty member in physical therapy. Searching for a part-time physical therapy faculty with expertise in cardiopulmonary physical therapy rehabilitation and other clinical physical therapy educational skills courses.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction in DPT courses, primarily in the areas of cardiopulmonary lectures and labs or other clinical physical therapy skills courses.

Required Qualifications

  • DPT degree and/or a combination of an entry-level physical therapy degree with a terminal academic degree (PhD, DSc, EdD) is required.
  • Expertise in the evaluation and treatment of cardiopulmonary impaired patients, along with a current Georgia physical therapy license (or GA license eligible) is required. Expertise in the pedagogy/andragogy associated with teaching doctoral, professional students; design and development of cardiopulmonary courses is also required.
  • ABPTS certification is preferred.
  • The successful candidate will have a current Georgia PT license (or be GA license eligible) with experience teaching in a CAPTE-accredited academic program.
