About Tekmetric
Tekmetric is the all-in-one, cloud-based platform helping auto repair shops run smarter, grow faster, and serve customers better.
Built by a shop owner and shaped by the needs of the industry, Tekmetric brings together innovation, real-world experience, and a thriving community to help shops thrive - not just survive. From running a shop, to securing payments to engaging customers, our platform simplifies operations so shop owners can focus on what really matters: delivering exceptional service, earning trust, and growing sustainably.
Officially founded in Houston in 2017, Tekmetric has grown from a single shop's vision to the industry's leading solution - all by staying true to our values of transparency, integrity, innovation, and a service-first mindset.
But we're not just building software. We're building a movement. We're empowering repair shops to rise above the daily grind, create meaningful connections with their customers, and lead the industry forward - one interaction at a time.
Come build with us. Join the journey. Shape the future of auto repair.
What You'll Do
As our Senior Visual Designer, you'll help shape the next evolution of the Tekmetric brand, a fast-growing SaaS company that feels more like a lifestyle brand than a traditional B2B player. You'll bring our story to life across major initiatives like Tektonic 2026 (our first industry-wide user conference), the brand evolution of Tekmetric as an all-in-one platform, our always-on content and campaigns and our growing customer storytelling programs. This role offers creative freedom, visibility, and the chance to design for an audience that's as real and grounded as it gets.
Top performers on our team blend craft excellence with collaboration and adaptability. They have a sharp design eye, communicate openly, take initiative, and handle feedback with maturity. Above all, they're invested in the bigger brand story and understand how their designs drive connection, not just aesthetics.
In this role, you will:
- Bring Tekmetric's brand to life through digital, social, print, and experiential design, ensuring a cohesive, elevated look and feel across every channel.
- Conceptualize and craft engaging experiences that drive Tekmetric's brand to the next level.
- Partner closely with marketing teammates on campaigns, content, social, events, and customer storytelling initiatives.
- Establish and maintain consistency of brand assets (logos, fonts, color palettes, tone of voice, key messaging, taglines, and more) across all marketing collateral.
- Support the evolution of Tekmetric's brand identity, refining templates, expanding visual systems, and documenting brand standards.
- Collaborate with the cross-functional partners to translate strategy into impactful visuals.
- Contribute to a growing design library and streamline creative workflows for speed, scalability, and consistency.
- Experiment, explore, and pitch creative ideas that help Tekmetric stand out in a category ready for reinvention.
- Defend conceptual direction while also being able to listen to and synthesize other opinions, being open to changing direction should timeline dictate.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of design experience in-house or at an agency, ideally with exposure to both B2B and B2C environments
- A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, brand systems, and multi-channel design (digital, print, social, event, and campaign work)
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; experience with motion, photography direction, or experiential design is a plus
- Proven ability to translate brand strategy and messaging into visually compelling creative concepts
- Strong understanding of design hierarchy, typography, and visual storytelling
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to interpret briefs and present work clearly to both creative and non-creative stakeholders
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset: able to manage multiple projects and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Curiosity, humility, and passion for connecting with real-world audiences
