Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels, ensuring that products are well-stocked, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle various tasks within a warehouse or retail environment, including loading and unloading products, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness.

Duties

  • Manage inventory levels through effective inventory control practices.
  • Utilize RF scanners for tracking stock and ensuring accuracy in inventory records.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy items safely within the warehouse or store.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required to stock shelves and organize products.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area to ensure a safe and organized environment.
  • Engage in merchandising activities to enhance product visibility and sales.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and product location.
  • Support retail sales efforts through effective stocking and organization of merchandise.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals while adhering to safety standards.

Skills

  • Strong background in warehouse experience, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Proficient in using RF scanners for tracking inventory.
  • Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers.
  • Knowledge of retail math to assist in stock management and sales reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly stockroom and sales floor.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Ability to perform cleaning duties as needed to uphold store standards.
