Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to lead our preconstruction efforts on various projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the estimating and contracting phases of construction projects, ensuring that all aspects are aligned with the project goals and client expectations. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of construction processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to clarify requirements and create contracts.
  • Review and analyze blueprints to ensure accuracy and feasibility for construction.
  • Utilize construction management software, including Planswift and Zoho CRM, to track project progress and manage documentation.
  • Conduct thorough construction estimating to provide accurate budgets and proposals.
  • Manage timelines effectively through strong time management skills to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with general contractors and clients to gather necessary information for project execution.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, challenges, and solutions for stakeholders.

Experience

  • Proven experience in construction management or estimating is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics is required.
  • Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and tools is necessary.
  • Experience using construction management software such as Planswift and CRM is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
