JB Hudco is a third Party Logistics Warehouse operation which has been in business for the past 34 years and is well established in Southern California. We are seeking candidates to become Material Handlers. We offer a competitive salary compensation plus an exceptional benefits package.

We are seeking team players who have a strong work ethic and are self-starters with a proactive mentality. The selected candidates must be dependable and reliable with the ability to work in a fast paced environment while being flexible with the tasks they are assigned, working across many functional areas as necessary when needed.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for accurate and timely receiving of all materials.
  • Responsible for insuring timely stock picks, accurate shipping and inventory control.
  • Operates material handling equipment - pallet jacks, standup lifts, and forklift trucks.
  • Operate handheld RFID Scanners to move inventory through receiving and into rack locations, order processing, and shipping.
  • Unload or load carrier containers.
  • Handles customer owned inventory properly to minimize damage and preserve quality.
  • Performs inventory actions including audits, cycle counts, and physical inventories.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Forklift Certified.
  • The position handles all aspects of material handling, receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills - must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must have basic math skills – add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Proficient in a Warehouse Management System.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50 Lbs.
  • Ability to walk, climb, stoop, sit and stand for an assigned shift.
  • Ability to deal with exposure to varying temperatures and humidity associated with a normal warehouse environment.
