Responsibilities
The Recruitment Coordinator under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources handles recruitment efforts including job postings and requisition management through the Applicant Tracking System (ICIMS).
Coordinates initial and ongoing credentialing and re-credentialing processes for physicians and advanced practice providers.
Establish channels for recruitment for all positions. Manages all positions based on a position control system and manages job vacancies to ensure that the jobs are filled with competent candidates to ensure that the hospital attracts, hires, and retains high-quality, compassionate mental health professionals (clinical and non-clinical). Will also conduct programs and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, recognition, job satisfaction, and long-term retention across the hospital.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-3 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or HR in a healthcare setting; ideally with mental health or behavioral health exposure
- Knowledge of ICIMS System (Prefered)
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Provides full-cycle recruitment efforts: sourcing, phone screenings and in-person interviews, initiates and monitors salary recommendation, background and drug screens and onboarding.
- Partners with the Director of HR to design and coordinate employee engagement initiatives & appreciation events that promote teamwork, recognition, and morale across all departments.
- Monitor ATS daily to respond to new applicants within 24 hours. Screen applications and send them to the appropriate hiring manager. Update statuses in ATS as appropriate.
- Working closely with all Directors to identify staffing, recruitment, and training needs, and provide solutions using a collaborate approach.
- Work with local colleges and universities to establish relationships to build pipelines of candidates.
- Support onboarding activities to ensure new hires feel connected and valued from day one. Respond to questions and needs of new hires as they go through the onboarding/orientation process.
- Use job boards, social media, and other platforms to attract diverse candidates.
- Organize job fairs, hiring events, and outreach efforts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, credentialing/licensure requirements (especially for clinical staff), and internal policies.
- Coordinates initial and ongoing credentialing and re-credentialing processes for physicians and advanced practice providers, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards, CMS regulations, and hospital bylaws. Collects, verifies, and maintains required credentialing documentation including licensure, board certification, education/training, professional references, malpractice insurance, and work history.
- Partners with Corporate Recruitment & Medical Staff Office, and Department Leaders to coordinate provider onboarding and orientation schedules.
- Conduct retention analyses: exit interviews, stay interviews, turnover metrics; identify trends and root causes.
- Prepare regular reports including Position Control for HR leadership.
- Collaborate in updating job descriptions, revising roles, adjusting hiring standards when needed
