Responsibilities The Recruitment Coordinator works under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources to handle recruitment efforts, including job postings and requisition management through the Applicant Tracking System (ICIMS). They coordinate initial and ongoing credentialing and re‑credentialing processes for physicians and advanced practice providers, establish recruitment channels for all positions, and manage all positions based on a position control system to ensure that vacancies are filled with competent candidates. The Coordinator also implements programs and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, recognition, job satisfaction, and long‑term retention across the hospital. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or HR in a healthcare setting; ideally with mental health or behavioral health exposure Knowledge of ICIMS System (Preferred) Job Duties and Responsibilities Provides full‑cycle recruitment efforts: sourcing, phone screenings, in‑person interviews, initiating and monitoring salary recommendations, background and drug screens, and onboarding. Partners with the Director of HR to design and coordinate employee engagement initiatives & appreciation events that promote teamwork, recognition, and morale across all departments. Monitors ATS daily to respond to new applicants within 24 hours, screens applications, and advances them to the appropriate hiring manager while updating statuses in ATS. Works closely with all Directors to identify staffing, recruitment, and training needs, and provides solutions using a collaborative approach. Builds relationships with local colleges and universities to establish pipelines of candidates. Supports onboarding activities to ensure new hires feel connected and valued from day one, addressing their questions and needs through the orientation process. Uses job boards, social media, and other platforms to attract diverse candidates. Organizes job fairs, hiring events, and outreach efforts. Ensures compliance with all relevant labor laws, credentialing/licensure requirements (especially for clinical staff), and internal policies. Coordinates initial and ongoing credentialing and re‑credentialing processes for physicians and advanced practice providers, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards, CMS regulations, and hospital bylaws, and maintains required documentation. Partners with Corporate Recruitment & Medical Staff Office and Department Leaders to coordinate provider onboarding and orientation schedules. Conducts retention analyses: exit interviews, stay interviews, turnover metrics; identifies trends and root causes. Prepares regular reports, including Position Control, for HR leadership. Collaborates in updating job descriptions, revising roles, and adjusting hiring standards when needed.
