Kayak Guide

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kayak Guide to join our team. As a Kayak Guide, you will be responsible for leading kayak tours and providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests. Duties:

- Lead kayak tours and provide instruction on paddling techniques and safety procedures

- Ensure the safety of all participants during the tour

- Communicate effectively with guests, providing information about the local area, wildlife, and history

- Educate guests on environmental conservation and responsible outdoor practices

- Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure all gear is in good working condition

- Manage time effectively to ensure tours run smoothly and on schedule

- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from guests

- Conduct pre-tour briefings to inform participants of safety guidelines and expectations

- Lead by example, demonstrating leadership skills and professionalism throughout the tour

Skills:

- Excellent time management skills to keep tours on schedule

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and provide instructions

- Ability to educate guests about the local area, wildlife, and conservation practices

- Multilingual abilities are a plus, as it allows for better communication with a diverse range of guests

- Exceptional customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all participants

- Proficient in public speaking to engage and entertain guests during the tour

- Leadership qualities to guide and inspire participants throughout the tour

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 31 per week
