We are seeking a Risk Management Account Executive / Insurance Marketing Professional to join our Commercial Lines Division of NSI Insurance Group.

BASIC FUNCTION:

We are seeking a seasoned, highly skilled Risk Management Account Executive / Marketing Professional with experience handling large clients with complex risks. This role requires a deep understanding of the marketplace, strong technical expertise, and the ability to develop tailored risk management solutions for high-profile accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and service large, complex client accounts, ensuring strategic risk management solutions are effectively implemented.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
  • Leverage market knowledge to negotiate competitive terms and coverage options.
  • Analyze and assess risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize client service and support business growth.
  • Monitors trends in the business environment.
  • An expert in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • May lead and direct the work of others on the team.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Management of renewal cycle and client servicing with key departments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with sales representatives and account executives from all major carriers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives from medium and large businesses.
  • Ability to make presentations to small and large groups.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Proven Industry Expertise – Strong background in risk management, insurance, and market trends, with experience handling large, complex accounts.

Technical Proficiency – Deep understanding of insurance programs, coverage analysis, and risk assessment.

Relationship Builder – Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and industry partners.

Negotiation Skills – Confident and persuasive in securing competitive terms and coverage options.

Problem-Solver – Analytical thinker who can assess risks and develop customized solutions for clients.

Detail-Oriented – Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in policies, contracts, and risk strategies.

Industry Knowledge – Experience in Construction, Real Estate, or Hospitality is a plus.

Big-Firm Experience – Background in major firms such as Marsh, AON, Willis, USI, McGriff, or Marsh & McLennan Agency is highly preferred.

Communication – Exceptional written and verbal communication.

License – Property & Casualty license required.
