Duties

  • Conduct thorough patrols of the facility, including restricted areas, to ensure safety protocols are followed and to identify potential hazards or security risks.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or alarms, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations peacefully.
  • Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors before granting entry.
  • Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, offering immediate assistance during medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies to ensure proper procedures are followed.
  • Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records accurately reflecting daily activities and any security concerns.
  • Support loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism activities and implementing preventative measures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a strong understanding of security protocols.
  • Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications such as CCTV operation or conflict management are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) operation and monitoring techniques.
  • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
  • Physical fitness to stand, walk, patrol for extended periods, and respond quickly when needed.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and emergency responders.
