You're an eager, detail-oriented Staff Accountant ready to grow your skills in construction accounting. You thrive in environments where learning, accuracy, and collaboration are valued, and you take pride in helping teams and clients achieve financial clarity.

You likely have:

  • 1–3 years of accounting experience (internships, entry-level, or recent graduate experience welcomed)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and a desire to learn construction-specific practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn accounting software tools

What You'll Do

  • Process daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain general ledger and job costing entries for accurate project financial tracking
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities by preparing schedules and reconciliations
  • Assist with financial statements and reports under guidance from senior staff
  • Collaborate with client teams and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
  • Track budget-to-actual performance and project profitability under supervision
  • Contribute to improving accounting processes and tools to increase efficiency and clarity
  • Uphold LLUM's commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional client service
