THE JOB:

As a Gourmet Food Server at CARBONE RIVIERA, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service in an exciting new dining destination created by the talented co-founders of MFG in partnership with MGM Resorts International. CARBONE RIVIERA is not just another restaurant; it's a thrilling evolution of the globally celebrated CARBONE brand, offering a fresh, seafood-driven interpretation of Italian American dining. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that every guest experiences the warmth and hospitality that CARBONE is known for. Your key responsibilities will include delivering customer orders with precision, maintaining tables to create an inviting atmosphere, and striving to exceed guest satisfaction at every turn. You'll also play a crucial part in keeping our dining area immaculate and performing essential side duties to support the team.

THE STARTING RATE: $ hourly + tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Welcome guests with a warm and relevant greeting, utilize your knowledge of menu, guest preference, service and selling techniques to guide selections
  • Knowledgeable of all menu items, prices, preparation method and time, major ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation
  • Be familiar with all hotel services, features and local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
  • Maintain table cleanliness and utilize a silent service approach
  • Itemize bill correctly and efficiently secure payment
  • Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense ofurgency
  • Work as a team, assist guest and employee needs and inquiries
  • Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • 2+ years of experience as a food server or runner
  • 2+ years of experience working in a fine-dining environment
  • Work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays
