Local Foods Kitchen, a beloved staple in the Fort Worth restaurant scene, is looking for an energetic, experienced, food-loving General Manager to lead our team into our next chapter of growth and excellence. At Local Foods Kitchen, we believe in scratch-made food, warm hospitality, and creating a place where people feel at home. WHO YOU ARE:

You are the heartbeat of the restaurant.

You lead with passion, not position. You move fast but never rush hospitality. You've probably been called "too intense" by people who didn't get it — and "inspiring" by those who did.

You know that a great manager doesn't just manage tasks — they lead with purpose, and create an environment where others can do the best work of their lives.

You love food. You obsess over details. You live for the moment when a guest lights up. You believe "good enough" is never good enough.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Set the tone — create a culture where hospitality is the standard, not the extra
  • Lead the team with clarity, energy, and heart
  • Own the daily rhythm: prep, service, close, repeat — with excellence every time
  • Hire, coach, and inspire a team of food lovers and service pros
  • Obsess over the numbers: labor, COGS, retention, reviews — because we win with both heart and discipline
  • Oversee catering and events to insure same excellence is experienced inside and outside the restaurant
  • Collaborate with ownership and chef to shape the future of Local Foods Kitchen.

COMPENSATION:

  • $70,000 starting salary
  • Bonus based on KPIs (we'll define these together — because ownership means alignment)
  • PTO + holidays + closed on sundays + meals + an actual life outside of work
  • Clear path to grow as we grow
