Team members at Santa Fe Christian are charged with preparing the Christian leaders of tomorrow to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Substitute teachers exhibit a robust relationship with Jesus Christ, which is central to daily instruction, and relations with students, parents, and other team members at SFC. Substitute teachers support faculty members, assuming the duties and responsibilities of a regular classroom teacher in their absence. These expectations include following lesson plans, effectively managing a classroom of students, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Spiritual Requirements:

•    Must be a professing believer of Jesus Christ

•    Must regularly attend/be a member of a Christ-centered church

•    Must sign and follow the SFC Statement of Faith & Moral & Ethical Integrity Policy

Job Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's Degree and CBEST, classroom teaching experience strongly preferred

Background and References:

•    Must be in good standing with current and/or past schools/organizations

•    Valid, negative TB test result (4 years)

•    LiveScan (fingerprinting); FBI and DOJ clearance to work in an educational setting

Required Documents:

•    Two letters of reference

•    Current resume

•    Copy of college transcripts
