Responsibilities

This is a contract, hybrid (PARTIALLY ON-SITE) role for a Full Stack software Engineer based in San Jose, CA. The Full Stack software Engineer will be responsible for hands-on architecting, prototyping, implementing, troubleshooting, iterating

  • the front-end (React, etc.)
  • the back-end web development (Node JS, FastAPI, etc.)
  • real-time messaging (WebSockets, SSE, etc.)
  • proxying (Nginx, Let's Encrypt, etc.)
  • containerization (Docker, K8s, Dokku, etc.)
  • cloud deployment (AWS, DigitalOcean, Vercel, Render, etc.)
  • cloud scaling, performance
  • vibe coding (full stack, real-time messaging, etc.)
  • agentic coding
  • vibe code cleanup
  • web API
  • user/developer API and tooling
  • robot applications
  • developer SDK
  • writing, publishing SDK documentation, examples, projects including open source
  • supporting third-party developers

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in responsibilities itemized in the role description
  • Exceptionally fast learner
  • Exceptional execution
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptionally resourceful
  • BS+5 years or MS+3 years in CS or related engineering field minimum
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus
  • Experience in robotics, robotics firmware, ROS2 a plus
