Position Title: Salesforce Architect (Omnistudio / Vlocity)

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to $185,000+ annually (commensurate with experience)

Schedule: Full-Time

Overview

The Information Technology Department is seeking a Salesforce Architect to lead the strategic design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Omnistudio (Vlocity) and Salesforce architecture, along with proven leadership experience in managing development teams and ensuring best practices in platform design, scalability, and integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall Salesforce architecture, design, and development, ensuring security, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
• Architect and deliver CRM and workflow solutions using Salesforce, Apex, Visualforce, Omnistudio (Vlocity), and J2EE technologies.
• Maintain architectural integrity and best practice standards across all Salesforce solutions.
• Oversee and mentor the Salesforce Development team, fostering innovation, quality, and accountability.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of Salesforce solutions, including deployment via Gearset and Azure CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to evaluate requirements, analyze system capabilities, and design solutions that enhance productivity and performance.
• Oversee testing, deployment, and maintenance of Salesforce integrations (including MuleSoft).
• Conduct design documentation, enforce best practices, and maintain consistency across projects.
• Evaluate and enhance existing information systems, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, guiding adoption of emerging Salesforce technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis and design, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Salesforce Certifications (Required):
• Advanced Administrator
• Service Cloud Consultant
• Platform App Builder
• Omnistudio Consultant
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information for diverse audiences.
• Proven experience in full-cycle Salesforce development, deployment, and integration.
• Experience managing deployments across multiple Salesforce environments (including Omnistudio solutions).

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Additional Salesforce certifications or Trailhead Superbadges (App Customization Specialist, Process Automation Specialist, Security Specialist, Health Cloud Specialist, Service Cloud Specialist).
• Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and Vlocity for Healthcare Industries.
• Working knowledge of MuleSoft integration.

Professional Competencies

• Proficient in development tools including VB.NET, C#, REST API, Web Services, Angular (or similar frameworks), Visual Studio, LINQ, XML, and JSON.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft DevOps, Agile methodology, and content versioning systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and independent work skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Up to $185,000+ annually, depending on experience.
