About the Role

We are seeking a Salesforce Enterprise Architect to lead a major digital transformation for a fast-growing EdTech organization operating across multiple Salesforce orgs. This strategic role will guide the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions that unify customer experiences and drive business efficiency.

You'll serve as the strategic technology leader for Salesforce across the enterprise — defining architecture standards, advising senior stakeholders, and ensuring alignment between business goals and technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the overall Salesforce architecture strategy across multiple business units and orgs.
• Lead the integration of Experience Cloud, B2B Commerce, and CPQ into a unified, scalable platform.
• Partner closely with business and IT stakeholders to translate enterprise objectives into actionable Salesforce roadmaps.
• Provide governance and best practices across Salesforce implementations, integrations, and custom development.
• Collaborate with delivery partners in the Salesforce partner ecosystem to ensure quality and alignment with architectural standards.
• Oversee data model design, security, and integration frameworks to enable seamless cross-org data flow.
• Mentor solution architects and development teams on scalable, best-practice Salesforce architecture.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the Salesforce ecosystem, aligning with EdTech-specific needs like student engagement, partner portals, and course commerce.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 7+ years in Salesforce architecture and solution design.
• Proven experience leading Salesforce multi-org transformations for large or enterprise-scale clients.
• Strong hands-on background with:
• Experience Cloud (Community/Partner/Customer portals)
• B2B Commerce (CloudCraze or Lightning Commerce)
• Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote)
• Experience working within or alongside a Salesforce Partner organization (Consulting or ISV).
• Deep understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, APIs, data modeling, and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills — capable of interfacing with C-level stakeholders and guiding technical teams.
• Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect (CTA preferred) are highly desirable.
• Background in the Education or EdTech sector is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) or MuleSoft integration.
• Familiarity with CRM Analytics, Marketing Cloud, or Service Cloud.
• Prior success in driving platform consolidation or modernization initiatives.
