Position Summary:
The Student Engagement & Partnerships Manager (SEPM) leads the strategy, development, and oversight of REACH's university partnerships, student engagement efforts, and the REACH Fellows Program. This position plays a key role in deepening relationships across campus, strengthening student-led initiatives, supervising REACH fellows, and student volunteers engaged in REACH's core service areas. The ideal candidate is a driven, goal-oriented professional with a passion for service, collaborative leadership, and relationship-building. They will be deeply committed to engaging students and academic departments in meaningful service, building strong cross-campus partnerships, and driving forward REACH's mission and long-term community impact. This position reports to REACH's Executive Director and works closely with REACH leadership and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. REACH Fellows Leadership
- Oversee and grow the REACH Fellows Program, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision of student team members.
- In collaboration with REACH Program Managers, provide mentorship, guidance, and performance support to students contributing to REACH's homeownership, entrepreneurship, and community-building programs.
- Design and facilitate leadership development workshops and skill-building sessions that reinforce REACH's mission and values.
- Foster a positive, mission-driven experience for all student volunteers, ensuring engagement, wellness, and sustainability in service roles.
2. Student Worker Supervision & Mentorship
· Supervise and mentor part-time student workers supporting REACH's engagement and event initiatives.
· Establish clear goals, work plans, and expectations aligned with REACH's mission and values.
· Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
· Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture that promotes leadership and accountability.
· Coordinate with program managers to ensure student roles effectively support REACH's outreach and partnership priorities.
3. University & Student Partnerships
- Serve as the primary liaison for student organizations, academic departments, campus offices and other student volunteers seeking to engage with REACH.
- Maintain and strengthen existing partnerships through consistent communication, support, and collaborative opportunities.
- Develop new service-learning, internship, and co-curricular engagement opportunities aligned with REACH programs.
- Build and nurture a REACH Student Alumni Network to promote ongoing mentorship, advocacy, and philanthropic involvement.
4. Campus & Community Engagement
- Represent REACH at campus events, panels, fairs, and other visibility opportunities.
- Lead outreach initiatives to engage students and the broader campus community through public speaking, tabling, and general campus engagement. .
- Support student-led events, service days, and other projects that advance REACH's programs and mission.
5. Communications & Storytelling
- Collaborate with REACH staff and students to highlight program successes and student impact stories.
- Support the creation of communications materials targeted at students, campus partners, and other stakeholders.
6. Development & Fundraising Support
- Assist in identifying and cultivating student-focused philanthropic opportunities, including fundraising campaigns and awareness initiatives.
- Coordinate with leadership to develop engagement pitches, presentations, and materials for student groups and university partners.
- Contribute to grant proposals and other funding initiatives related to student engagement.
7. Evaluation, Strategy & Continuous Improvement
- Track student participation, volunteer hours, and program outcomes in REACH's data systems.
- Collect and analyze feedback to refine engagement strategies and improve programming.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to REACH leadership on student engagement, partnerships, and program impact.
- Participate in team strategy sessions and professional development opportunities to strengthen organizational learning and advance REACH's mission.
Pay: $45, $55,283.89 per year
