Athena is looking for a Manager, Operations to join our team.
The Manager, Operations plays a key role in driving efficiency, collaboration, and clarity within the Brand Communications team for a major telecommunications client. This role partners closely with leadership to guide a team of project managers, ensuring smooth operations, balanced workloads, and consistent, high-quality project execution, supporting our team holistically from end to end in a highly collaborative environment.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate has the following:
- Support the operational leadership of a team of project managers, helping manage workload allocation, priorities, and cross-functional alignment.
- Partner with client leadership to unify workflows and processes across the department to ensure effective project delivery.
- Maintain and evolve team operations, striking the right balance between structure and flexibility to support operational excellence of the department.
- Support team meetings and communications and foster a strong team culture built on collaboration, clarity, and accountability.
- Identify opportunities to streamline systems and tools to improve visibility and productivity
- Manage ongoing operational needs such as scheduling, documentation, team planning, and budgeting.
And should have the following experience and skills:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years relevant project management, operations, or creative/production management
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple workstreams at once.
- Strong project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects and workflows.
- Proficiency in Airtable (highly preferred) and familiar with other workflow management tools.
- Communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on solutions and team success.

Candidates must be willing to work hybrid (4 days on-site) in our Philadelphia, PA office.
