Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Event Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic sales team. This is not a back-office admin role — it's an opportunity to build a career in high-end event sales. You'll assist with high-profile event opportunities that contribute to the team's multi-million-dollar pipeline, while owning smaller events yourself. With mentorship, training, and hands-on client exposure, you'll develop the skills to grow into a senior sales role.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Support & Growth: Assist Senior Sales Managers with proposals, contracts, and client presentations while learning to drive revenue independently.
- Portfolio Management: Manage your own book of small-to-mid-sized events from initial inquiry through execution, ensuring world-class service.
- Client Communication: Serve as a day-to-day contact for clients, vendors, and partners, providing a seamless experience.
- Event Logistics: Coordinate with catering, décor, AV, and vendor partners to deliver events on time and on budget.
- Systems & Administration: Maintain event files, track budgets, update CRM, and ensure data accuracy to support the team's $5M+ annual revenue pipeline.
- Growth Pathway: Learn from senior leadership how to cultivate client relationships, close high-value deals, and grow into a Senior Sales Manager role.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hospitality, event planning, or sales experience (internships count).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Tech-savvy, with comfort in CRM, and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
- A genuine passion for hospitality and the drive to grow into a high-impact sales role.
