(ON CALL) PORTERS, GENERAL CLEANERWe are seeking cleaning/maintenance industry personnel with related experience that have flexibility in their schedule, possess strong customer services skills, and have a strong sense of work ethic.

Role Overview:As a Porter/General Cleaner you are responsible for always maintaining a clean and safe facility/building. Perform maintenance procedures including but not limited to cleanliness and appearance, minor repairs, and assist in other duties as the client's needs may change.

Responsibilities:

• Must be client focused, always while on the clock, while following Safety's Policies.
• Punctuality when reporting to work and performing work duties.
• Maintain a clean and neatly groomed uniform, by following Safety's Uniform Policy.
• Perform daily/weekly walkthroughs throughout the area/location of work.
• Complete the required cleaning / disinfecting tasks, and other preventive maintenance related tasks.
• Maintain all equipment by neatly storing, using, & keeping track of storage. (Vacuum, Mop, etc.)
• Operate machinery such as but not limited to (Wax, Strip, Buffing, Trash Compactor, etc)
• Handling cleaning supplies and controlling usage for inventory.
• Communicating any facility work that needed to be completed to the management team.
• Weekly Deep cleaning checklist
• Other duties may be assigned as business/client needs change.

2-3 years of experience in maintenance, housekeeping or custodial servicesPhysical Requirements: walking and standing during the entire shift (often 4-8 hours), climbing stairs, kneeling to clean floors, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movement.
