Most hours are evenings and weekends.

Duties

  • Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
  • Load and unload cargo efficiently using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques to ensure proper handling of goods
  • Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to maximize efficiency and punctuality
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction during deliveries
  • Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock organization, and preparing orders for delivery
  • Load, secure, and unload packages carefully to prevent damage during transit
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation, and vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

  • Experienced driver comfortable giving great customer service
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; large vehicle driving experience preferred
  • Experience driving pick up trucks and operating box trucks a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy items safely during loading and unloading processes
  • Familiarity with equipment moving tools such as hand trucks and pallet jacks;
  • Strong organizational skills for route planning and load management
  • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
