The Senior IT Manager / Info Management manages and/or leads a team of technology Data Analysts / Data Specialists responsible for the build, design, development, testing, execution, and quality assurance of Data / Information Management solutions ensuring effective integration and processes are in place across the enterprise. Role may also be a technical expert within a specialized data management field responsible for providing team leadership and building out Data / Information Management organizational capabilities.
Depth & Scope:
Deep understanding and hands-on experience implementing a Big Data stack (e.g. Hadoop)
Complete understanding and expertise with Data warehouse technologies including Database Management Systems, BI Tools and ETLs
Strong knowledge of when to use traditional vs big data solutions
Extensive experience in leading and designing complex data-intensive applications
Extensive functional and technical knowledge of advanced analytics processes (building automated processes for data acquisition and analysis), systems and methods for prevention, detection and management of financial crimes
Senior role requiring significant people management experience and specialized knowledge of advanced data analytics within the context of a global bank
Education & Experience:
Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
Graduate degree, preferred
10+ years related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing models that outline the relationships and flow between various data products
Ability to translate complex business requirements into precise, logical data models, ensuring clear data paths and efficient storage
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data models—conceptual, logical, and physical.
Ensure that data governance controls are embedded throughout the modelling process.
Advocate for and implement best practices in data modelling.
Extensive experience creating both conceptual and physical models using a variety of tools and methodologies
Good understanding on Data Products
Working knowledge on Azure Databricks, Azure Data factory and Unity Catalog
