Sr. Program Manager

A highly analytical candidate with program/project management or grocery operations experience is an ideal fit, as this role will require partnership with multiple teams (Tech, Operations, Analytics, Finance, Workforce Planning, Delivery and other teams) to lead, influence, and support business critical projects and initiatives. Robust understanding of fulfillment operations including order fulfillment, inventory flows, constrained warehouse assets (capacity and labor), inventory health and long term roadmaps will help develop new innovations within complex ultra-fast operations.
You will be expected to interact with senior-level audiences to provide updates and make strategic recommendations that will achieve the long-term vision for optimal balance between business need and operator experience. Documentation of requirements, project management, and cross-team coordination skills are essential.
Key job responsibilities
-Designing and modeling new operations processes for developing business needs to prove quality, cost, and scalability goals as critical outputs.
-Gathering and analyzing data across inventory health and shrink in partnership with cross functional teams.
-Rethinking end to end operations to optimize for waste reduction and efficiency.
-Building strong partnership with operations field leaders to understand improvement opportunities.
-Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward solves.
-Leading project teams to plan, organize, and execute complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new projects and processes.
-Innovating to improve customer experience and continuously remove cost from our fulfillment network.
-Designing new metrics and enhancing existing metrics to support the future state of the business.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
