As a Facilities Power Distribution Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the reliability, operation, and optimization of medium and low voltage power distribution systems supporting a high-tech semiconductor facility. This role requires strong analytical and project management capabilities, as well as experience in electrical design, power modeling, maintenance strategy, and infrastructure life-cycle planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead audits, analysis, and technical support for low and medium voltage (12.47kV and 35kV) electrical power systems.
  • Manage complex electrical engineering initiatives, including coordination with cross-functional stakeholders such as design teams, construction, R&D, and field operations.
  • Review and approve electrical design specifications, maintenance procedures, and operational protocols for power supply units and battery backup systems.
  • Ensure all systems meet quality, reliability, and compliance KPIs.
  • Monitor trends in system utilization, capacity, and performance. Develop virtual sensors and work plans to detect and resolve adverse conditions.
  • Create and maintain schedules for maintenance, repair, and system health metrics reporting.
  • Conduct equipment test reviews and determine asset life expectancy through life extension evaluations.
  • Develop long-term replacement strategies and manage change control processes.
  • Oversee projects impacting power systems and ensure availability of critical spare parts.
  • Model and troubleshoot electrical systems and collaborate with utility providers to maintain quality of electrical supply. 
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to your in your role.
Skills Required:
  • Strong technical background in low and medium voltage systems (12.47kV & 35kV).
  • Proven ability to model electrical systems and conduct load flow analysis.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex engineering projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Solid knowledge of maintenance planning, asset management, and electrical system reliability.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with utility partners and manage supplier relationships effectively.
Education / Licenses / Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Required)
  • Other certifications related to power systems or project management are a plus.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required.
