We are looking for an experienced and passionate cook to help support our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in a professional kitchen, enjoys having creative freedom, self- motivated and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively.
If you have restaurant industry experience, have a passion for food and want an ideal work life balance this is the job for you
Responsibilities will be to assist the head chef in day-to-day kitchen tasks; such as maintaining salad bar, prepping and executing the menu for that day, converting recipes, measuring and assembling ingredients, collaborating and writing menus, maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and abiding by all health code regulations
A normal work week will be Monday through Thursday 10am to 6pm, with a half shift on Sunday 2pm to 6pm. 36 hours per each work week.
We prefer the candidate to be ServSafe Certified. Culinary degree or in school with the intent of finishing is a plus; or 2-3 years of professional kitchen experience as a line cook,
sous chef, lead line cook, kitchen manager or equivalent role.
