Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with strong architectural and project management skills to oversee all aspects of our construction projects from planning to completion. The ideal candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to our high standards. This is a multidisciplinary role requiring both project management expertise and advanced design capabilities.

Please Note:

We welcome applications from candidates based in New York City or New Jersey with a valid driver's license, as the role involves commuting between job sites. This is an in-person position, and the ability to commute is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans and schedules.
  • Manage project budgets and resources.
  • Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and permits.
  • Monitor and report on project progress.
  • Address and resolve project challenges.
  • Conduct daily job site visits.
  • Produce detailed construction drawings, shop drawings, and design documentation.
  • Interpret and work from architectural drawings.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in construction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Advanced design skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one 3D design program (preferably 3ds Max with Corona Renderer).
  • Ability to create high-quality renderings and technical drawings.
  • Experience producing shop drawings and reading architectural plans.
  • Knowledge of NYC construction regulations and permitting process.
