HVAC Install Technician

The Weather Changers Heating and Air Conditioning is family-owned and operated and serves customers in the greater Denver Metro area. We are looking to add a HVAC Residential Installation Technician to the team

We are looking for an experienced residential installation technician that can confidently install residential furnaces and air conditioning systems. Additionally, this technician should be able to confidently discuss findings, repairs, and suggestions with homeowners. Must be able to work independently and with other team members in customers' homes. The Weather Changers Heating and Air Conditioning pays for any required training for all our technicians to help them continuously develop their skills. Technicians will be expected to drive a company vehicle. The company vehicle is stocked with everything needed to do the job. The vehicle is fueled and maintained by the company. In order to apply, a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record are required.

We focus on installing residential systems only, not commercial.

Minimum requirements:

• Install Residential Furnaces including High Efficiency

• Install New Air Conditioning systems (2-stage and communicating)

• Install New Heat Pump systems

• Install Ductless (mini spilt) systems

• Install Humidifiers

• Experience brazing copper lines

• Experience connecting gas lines

• Install air filtration and indoor air quality systems (a plus)

• Duct work and duct work modifications

• Work with Sheet Metal

• General electrical knowledge

• Be able to maintain a clean, professional work vehicle.

• Be able to drive a company vehicle in a safe and professional manner.

• Able to work in Colorado's extreme weather environments.

• Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds and 100 pounds assisted.

• Must have good customer service, organization, and communication skills.

• Be comfortable standing and climbing ladders and attic stairs. Able to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units.

• Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl

• Must have at least 2 years of installation experience

• Must be self-motivated

• Must have HVAC hand tools

• Must be able to problem-solve

• Excellent work ethic and judgment

• Ability to work and communicate effectively individually as well as in a team environment

• EPA certification

· Be able to work independently and with other team members.

NATE Certified a plus
